2005 Water Distribution Project

At the April 4, 2005 Council meeting the City Council awarded the 2005 Water Project bid to Bodiford Construction Inc., a Boise contractor. The low bid amount was $3,114,676.00. The City's engineering firm, Entranco, is currently working with Bodiford to complete the contract package. We anticipate that all the necessary paper work will be completed late this month allowing construction to begin the first of May. This project will replace and/or add approximately 58,000' of new water main, approximately 70 new fire hydrants and replace approximately 370 customer service lines. Stay tuned. As we develop a construction schedule we will advise residents when they can expect construction activity in their neighborhood.
