2005 City Election Results
The votes were canvassed by the Mayor and City Council in a special meeting held at 12:00 p.m. on November 10, 2005 in the City Council Chambers. Open seats in the 2005 election included mayor, three 4-year Council positions and one 2-year Council position. Four candidates filed during the declaration of candidacy time period and one candidate filed as a write in, with all races being unopposed. After canvassing, the official voting results are listed below.
Mayor:
Terry Vanderwall - 191 votes
Four Year Councilmember:
Wes Lester - 161 votes
Bruce Walker - 154 votes
Delbert Houger (write in) - 68 votes
Two Year Councilmember:
Brian Lorentz - 178 votes
