Public Hearing - Annexation Requests

NOTICE OF HEARING

BEFORE: Grangeville Planning and Zoning Commission

THE PUBLIC IS HEREBY NOTIFIED AS FOLLOWS:

Pursuant to Idaho Code 67-6509, a public hearing will be held at City Hall before the Grangeville Planning and Zoning Commission on the 13th day of March, 2007, at 7:00 P.M. concerning the annexation requests from Grangeville Investments, LLC. and Bob Blewett.

Grangeville Investments, LLC requests annexation for that property north of the Grangeville Truck Route and south of Airport Road for the development of the new Forest Service Building. The proposed zoning for this annexation is Industrial Zone D.

Bob Blewett requests annexation for that property located South of Madison and between Idaho Avenue and Hall Street for the Pebble Creek Subdivision. The proposed zoning for this annexation is Residential Zone A.

The specific legal descriptions of the areas for the requested annexations are available for review at the office of the City Clerk. At the hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission will consider ordinance requirements and whether the zoning proposals are consistent with the Grangeville Comprehensive Plan. At the close of the hearing, the Commission will forward its zoning recommendations to the City Council for further action. Any person desiring to comment or object may do so at the hearing or a written comment may be delivered to the City Clerk prior to the meeting.
